Our next concert: Sea Symphony at Wells Cathedral, July 11th.

 

Amanda Roocroft (photo by Anthony Roocroft)We will be performing Vaughan Williams’ mighty Sea Symphony along with the Athenaeum Singers of Warminster and the Mid-Somerset Orchestra at Wells Cathedral on July 11, at 7.00 pm.

All proceeds from this concert will go to the RNLI, the charity that saves lives at sea.

The soprano soloist will be Amanda Roocroft, who recently received ecstatic reviews for her performance as Ellen Orford in English National Opera’s much praised production of Britten’s Peter Grimes.

Full Programme Details

Bath Minerva Choir is a friendly, non-auditioning choir with high performance standards. We have an exciting programme for the year ahead, including Beethoven’s Mass in C in April 2010. Rehearsals for our Christmas Concert at St Swithin’s, Walcot, will begin on September 5th and new singers are always welcome.
